What’s your name and where are you from?
I’m Marcus Watts, or VIP Watts. I am ageLESS (lost count because time is of the essence but AGE is NOT) and reigning in from the Far Eastside of Indianapolis.
Who are your biggest influences and why?
Biggest influences at the core starts with my parents. I’ve seen them subtly struggle with society’s standards while ensuring to provide me with every opportunity to succeed in life. Musically I’m influenced by many artists and with the evolution of hip hop and the way it changes I can say my influences are Michael Jackson, Prince, Tupac, Nipsey, Andre 3000, Nelly, Queen, Guns N’ Roses, DMX, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Tyler The Creator, Bruno Mars, and Dave or you may know him as Lil Dicky. All were or are very creative and knowledgeable about vocalizing their brand through music.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself consistently building a fanbase who believe in the message of self-sufficient growth. I believe this will propel my music to the top and solidify me as one of the TOP artists in the industry. I also see myself owning multiple business and developing positive organizations for our future leaders to be apart of.
