What’s your full name and where are you from?
Darrel Travis Wilder from Holley, N.Y. A small town in western New York thats predominantly white.
Tell us a little about your business:
Well that’s the thing. I haven’t really ventured into monetizing my craft quite yet. There’s still a lot that I have to learn before I can properly implement it into my music.
What makes you different as a person and also what separates you from the rest of your peers in your industry?
For starters I like to sing on my tracks, mostly in the hooks even though I don’t believe im that good at that part- haha but besides that I’m not so concerned about what people have to say about my tunes. To be honest, I do this for me. I feel most comfortable venting through my music. If you like it you like. If ya don’t ya don’t, ya know. Not everyone is gonna feel what I’m saying nor do I expect them to. I love music that i can listen to over and over again and not get sick of it in a short period of time. Maybe I’m being bias though lol.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
God willing I see myself being able to provide a good life of no financial worries for me and my family. They have always had my back when I needed it so its important to me that I can give them everything they ever wanted as a token of appreciation. I love making music though. From the beat to the lyrics to hearing it all come together as it is in my head is so satisfying. To be able to perform what I love to do for fans and get paid from it is a goal I’m working towards.
