Thalisa Bethel — The Future Of Hip Hop: Hot New Artist Alert

What’s your full name and where are you from?
My name is Thalisa Bethel ; I was born and raised in the Bahamas but later moved to Fort Lauderdale
Tell us a little about your business:
I’m a new hip hop musical artist. This month I will be releasing my very first single. Search up “Thalisa Bethel” on all platforms and make sure to stream it up. I’m a young and determined black women who is striving for success not only for me but my whole family. I’ve been writing music since I was little but never had the heart to jump into it. I realize that I can’t get any where I want until I jump in head first. This is my time to continue making myself a boss. I will be apart of the future of hip hop and I plan to love every minute of it.
What makes you different as a person and also what separates you from the rest of your peers in your industry?
As a first generation immigrant, music is something that always spoke to me and helped me throughout my day. Although it’s a big part of my life, I plan on finishing college and getting my degree. Most people expect hip hop artist to drop out but that’s far from the plan. I want to show that you can accomplish both while being a genuine person and making music from the heart.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I will be a Business woman with many facets and multiple sources of income. I plan to be occasionally traveling and continuously working on building my brand and empire to the best of my ability. I want to network with elite people and those with the mindset of creating financial and mental stability for themselves and their family. I plan to have a contact list of powerful people that I do business with & to be seen as a wise investor. On that note, it is very important for me to give back. So, I want to create scholarships for High school seniors every year as a way to invest in the future, just like others have invested in me and how I have invested in myself.
What legacy do you wish to leave behind?
I will inspire the Next generation! My favorite quote is “Don’t look back, your not going that way”. Through the life I live, I want people to see that I dove in and gave my all into everything I wanted ; that I built something that can’t just be ripped away. In 2020, we talk about being a future boss but I want to show that anyone anywhere can be a boss now. It just takes a little courage and motivation .
