What is your artist name and where are you from?
“My full stage name is Stephie and I’m from West Palm Beach, Florida. I thought to go by my real name because there’s not a lot of us “Stephie’s” out there, it’s also one of my favorite things about myself. Part of my uniqueness in a way”!
Stephie differentiates herself from a person to an artist…
“As a person, I think the first thing that makes me stand out is the fact that — I’ve been a nurse since I was 18 years old. It was hard work, but absolutely worth it. I’m also currently on the frontlines in New Jersey. While in New Jersey, I’m still writing music and singing every chance that I get. I even sing to my patients. Music finds its way into everything that I do”.
Stephie continues her story by differentiating as a person/artist…
“I’ve been singing and writing music since I could remember. I was all over Palm Beach, Florida being signed up for local competitions and joining school choirs. My mom played a huge role in my youth musical experiences, she’s part of the reason that I was so driven, and still am”.
As an artist, I stand out because — I’m not afraid to get uncomfortable. I don’t consider there to be a safe genre or style. I go for it and if it doesn’t work out at least I know I tried. I take not only my personal experiences, but also the people around me and tell our stories through music. It sounds cliche, but it’s how I establish a relatable relationship with my listeners”.
Quote from Stephie.
“I don’t often take no for an answer — — I think that I can instill that trait into the people who finds courage and strength in my lyrics. As well as, find the inspiration to go chase your dreams no matter how big or how far they may seem”.
Where do you see yourself in 5 Years
“In five years, I’d like to be touring around the word. I’d also like to build and own a hospital. Healthcare will always be a significant part of me. It’s my way of merging two of my greatest passions without showing favoritism to one. I think that’s why I’m in love with music, it’s a form of healing and support. It makes you feel like nothing else. I think that’s the best way to describe the power that music holds. It has way of creeping into your mind and bringing you memories of both good and bad, as well as sad and nostalgic. Within the next five years, I’d like to be apart of music history as well as dip my toe In the acting industry as well”.
