What is your name, and where are you from?
My name is Estrella. I was born in the Dominican Republic but currently live in Massachusetts.
What makes you different as a person and as a model?
I had, and I still have, a dream. I dream not just to be a model in the title but to be a model who provides quality and holistic services in the fashion industry and creates a healing environment wherever I go. To be a model who can address any fashion challenge from the local to the global level. Then what do I need to achieve my dream? To understand what makes me who I am and perhaps a little different from the rest, I’ll talk a little about my life journey. I haven’t always been the outgoing, free-spirited, and rebellious woman you can judge by the picture. At one stage of my life, everyone would judge me as the introverted girl who wears preppy clothes with glasses and barely talks because that’s who I was. I was too into what I grew as and what everyone expected of me. The girl who was into political science and never got out of her comfort zone box, which was a room full of books, newspapers, and writing my thoughts away without knowing who I entirely was.
