Sindy Nicole
My name is Sindy Nicole. I was born in Montebello, Los Angeles, and moved to San Diego at age seven. I’ve moved around all my life, but I was always able to keep one thing with me; my voice. My mother tells me I have been singing since I could speak — age one-and-a-half. Expressing myself through my voice has always kept me grounded. Listening to artists who speak in song what I cannot explain myself has always let me know I am not alone. Nobody is. Music saved me in a lot of ways, and still does to this day. So I aspire to connect with all of you the same way. I’ve held this belief: Although we are so diverse, we are more alike than we think. We may not share the same beliefs, interests, or backgrounds, but we have the cornerstones of life in common; food, shelter, love, and acceptance. That is what I’ve learned through connecting with artists, and everyday people in life. And in five years, I could see myself on a stage touching the hearts of beautiful human beings I share a connection with. All of us, as one. To let you know, together we stand.
