My name is Rudy Dejesus Flores and I go by “Rey Effective”. I’m an American/Hispanic hip hop artist born and raised in Los Angeles. Van Nuys to be exact. I grew up for about 10 years in the San Fernando valley area moving to different cities in the vicinity throughout the years. At about age 14 my family decided to pack up and move to antelope valley Palmdale and since then I have resided here. I grew accustomed and learned to love both areas that I grew up in. A California native is what I will always be at heart.
I believe that my compassion differentiates me as a person in this industry. The music scene has always been so cut throat and full of deceitful practice. I have been a victim of countless scams and have always made it a mission of mine to work with integrity towards others trying to obtain the same goal without guidance. My work ethic is what I feel makes me stand out as an artist. I love to take time and learn new things. Making sacrifices has never been a problem for me. I am willing to do what it takes to further push my career.
Let’s be real, what we all want is success, but aside from anything glamorous the deep root to my desire in winning is to prove myself right. My whole life I have been steered to failure with the odds against me. From my parents, teachers…
