Raymond Smith, famously known as Rai Smith is an American professional music artist and songwriter from Queens, NY. He’s known for his new smash single “Brush Em”.
When I first heard “Brush Em” I was amazed with the production, the world play, and the confidence on the whole track. The way people reacted to it was a sight to see. This is definitely the song to look out for in the next few months.

I’m a recording artist and owner of North District Records. I’ve been doing music for over 10 years and most recently began recording, mixing & mastering my work.
What separates you from your peers?
I persevere. Through trial and tribulation, I know myself well enough to know I’m going to do what is needed to achieve a goal. I’m relentless actually, it’s helped make me into who I am today, a better artist, a better man, a better person.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I see myself not only being one of the biggest household names, I see myself opening the doors for artist much like myself. I went through a lot learning the ropes of this game, I want to provide more to protect the artists.
What legacy do you wish to leave behind?
I wish to inspire people to go for their dreams. There were months I slept in the studio, worked & hustled to get to where I wanted to be. I’m still applying pressure, we aren’t done yet and I want to help people see they can do the same for their own craft.
