Marques Johnson, famously known as P.R. PRECISE, is a musical artist and songwriter from Los Angelas.
What makes you different as a person and as an artist?
What makes me different from other artist. is my versatility and able to jump from r&b, reggae/reggaeton, hip hop, pop etc. music from my r&b song like “Love You” feat. Savannah J, “Dont Listen” Feat. Mic Knight, or my recent record “Love & Hate”, reggae and reggaeton tracks like “Issue” Feat. Estyme or “U got 2 Know” Feat. Carlos Andrez also known as AndrezBabii. Club R&B tracks like “Insta Model” or “She Want That” showing my versatility in the r&b section. Switching It To Hip Hop it’s the samething I do different types of hip hop music I can go conscious songs like “Knowledge Is Power” Feat. J-Rari, and Cane, or another track called. “The Vent”. I’ve also Done Gangsta Rap like my song “LOC” Feat. Glasses Malone, or “Californian” Feat. Mic Knight, DaBoyGG. Even tho my preference is R&B because I see what that fan base wants and what helps my growth as an artist. But I Can still deliver either way you want it. Especially for artist that would like to collaborate with me or need assistance on writing my versatility allows me to do any and everything.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
I want to be established as an artist a writer and get recognition for my hard work and dedication to music. I also would like to be a role model and a inspiration people around the world. And what I accomplish I would love to help others accomplish. Another thing I would like to accomplish. is being a. Entrepreneur owning businesses, Real Estate. Building a stable foundation for my family and my future family. To put all the struggles of my past life be put to rest. So those are a Few things I would like to accomplish.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself working with different artist helping them create and helping them reach there goals as an artist. More so like artist development I see myself writing, engineering, helping with artist image etc. As I stated in the following question I plan on owning a business and have a stable foundation and company. I have a lot of plans so my head is on straight and I’m determined to reach those goals.
What do you bring to the music world?
I bring a lot to the music world being able to perform different genres (R&B, Rap/HipHop, Reggae, Pop) I’m able to connect with so many people who love music. And one thing you can expect from me is being authentic and giving reality music every one can relate to. And also I may add that most people who grew up in the old school era don’t like the new school era or the new school era don’t like old school. Well I am a fan of both so I mixed the both so I can attract both old school and new school. So they both can get the best of both worlds. I have so much to give to the music world.
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
The legacy I want to leave is showing that no matter the struggle or no matter what adversities you may face. You can get throug anything. And you can do anything you put your heart into. Long As You Focus and put your mind into it. By leaving a Legacy I want to be a prime example of grinding and hard work paying off. Like I stated in the previous questions. I want to be an inspiration for my people.
