Ashley Harden is a 28 year old American singer and songwriter from Dallas, TX. A few of her biggest influences in the industry are Eminem, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Andrè 3000, Biggie, & Tupac. They have all left a huge impression on her as an artist. Her biggest accomplishment in her career is scoring a song with Obie Trice. She always say it was magic how it happened. She knew someone who knew someone and happened to be at the right place at the right time and then boom! It happened. bettering her self each and everyday from the start to become the great creative artist that she is today is what she believes is a big accomplishment, mastering her sound and who she is.
What legacy would you like to leave behind?
I would like to change the music scenery for female entertainment. I’m just starting to see more women only speak sexually in their music rather than speaking true and real lyrics that the audience may be going through everyday. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with talking about it, but I do believe there is a limit for everything. But not only females, I do make unisex music that relatable for every gender and I just want to be that artist that everyone goes to when they are feeling whatever type they may be in because I do make music for different types of moods as every artist should.
