What’s your name and where are you from?
I am Kyron Hodges, I was Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
Tell us about your business:
My Film Production company is Headliners Productions Inc. We were first established in 2004 and have over 12 titles in distribution across the world. Our first successful project was a comedy documentary named “Crackheads Gone Wild”. From there we went on to do a feature film titled “Potnah” which won awards for best screenplay and eventually best full length film at festivals. All of our projects in some form are made from real life experiences. With the CHGW series we wanted to show the generations to come the effect of Drugs and what they do to you. In Potnah we touched on how there’s loyalty and betrayal amongst your closest friends; and our current project “The Thin Black Line” which was just released on streaming platforms touches on Police Brutality.
I came from nothing, been to prison for being nothing, I almost died there over nothing, my mother died while I was in there for nothing, so when I got out I promised myself I’d always be SOMETHING. That’s what sets me out from the rest.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I’ll be 50 years old.
What type of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I own a 4000 sq foot home on the water looking at NYC, I’m Married to the woman of my Dreams, I run TWO successful businesses, my twins are both in college, my 10 year old is an A student and is 41–0 in amateur boxing, I have a gorgeous 10 month old baby girl who adores me. Life is great and my legacy to my children and the world is to show that no matter what life throws at you you can make it if you try.
