My full name is Marcus Boyd, artist name Addonnis, and I am from Toledo, Ohio
Tell us a little about your Music:
I am an independent hip hop artist, songwriter, and also a pharmacist. I moved to Los Angeles, California in 2016 to pursue my dreams in the music industry. My style of hip hop is lyrical and punchlines. I am versatile songwriter in many genres of music ranging from pop, R&B, and Hip Hop. My latest single “Runway” is a fresh take on contemporary pop with a hint of funk/soul music. The art of versatility mastered, as I sing on the first verse and hook, then rap the second and third verse. I wanted to make a song that was light and fun that could brighten everyone’s mood. With the music video, I wanted to tell a literal interpretation of the story from my descriptive lyrics and bring about a world of sexual fluidity. I wanted everyone to feel represented with “Runway” whether, Straight, Gay, or Bisexual. There are so many different types of beauty and I wanted that to be showcased in the best light, which I believe “Runway” achieved.
