Moni Strong (MoniKea Hatten) from the greater Chicagoland area is an inspiration for all millennials of all walks of life. Moni began her journey as a domestic violence survivor and single teen mom in 2010. She had her newborn son Ezekiel and was forced into an unstable lifestyle. While living at arguably Chicago’s toughest shelter for almost a year, Moni pursued her Associates (was later removed from the shelter for pursuing her degree while homeless). She graduated and later became a Paralegal for over 8 years. She then became a motivational and keynote speaker within her home state, Illinois. However, it would seem good fortune was still a reach for Moni and her son. Following her divorce, she went bankrupted. This made entrepreneurship a challenge. Nevertheless, Moni has beat the odds and continue to strive for excellence. Today, Moni has 4 Degrees, 25 professional certifications and memberships, and she is currently co-owner of 4 businesses.

Not only has Moni left her career of 8 years as a paralegal to own and operate each business as the Chief Officer of Operations, she has also become a sensation with thought-provoking campaigns, elegant concepts and her unique style of modeling. She has also struggled with her very own body image as a plus size model. She now uses her platform as a plus sized model to bring awareness and her past as an empowerment tool to inspire other millennials. Last year, she raised money for Domestic Violence Awareness and helped 18 victims get the help and resources that they needed to break the cycle.

To date, Moni is a proud and newly launch business owner. She left her career of 8 years to pursue entrepreneurship in May of 2020, and never looked back. This leap of faith not only inspired her friends and family to partner with her, but her newborn son? Ezekiel has launched his business at the age of 10. She says that this was her biggest accomplishment and legacy was her son becoming a hard-working entrepreneur, using her knowledge base as a paralegal, Moni has patent Ezekiel’s brand and finalized his legalization.
