What is your full name, age, and where are you from?
My name is Mark Awad. I’m 31 years oldand I’m from Australia.
Who are your biggest influences in your industry?
While the fashion industry continues to introduce us to new styles every season, the industry would not be where it is today without the help of influential fashion icons just like Zara, politix, Louis Vuitton, emporio armani. Just remember style is more than just clothes. It’s how you wear them, and also what you’re trying to say through them. It’s a way of instilling your identity and personality to people without saying a word, and that sort of self knowledge doesn’t just happen overnight. There’s a marked difference between people who put some effort into there look, and those who merely throw things on because they’d rather not be naked.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments in your career?
Having good people around you who motivate, inspire and encourage you is so important. Surrounding yourself in that energy and environment is what will help you grow and really does have an impact on your mental state. My whole life I’ve always help and inspire people in one way or another. I’m forever grateful for the people in my life
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
My long term goal are to put my skills and knowledge into work in the fashion industry because the fashion industry is growing and growing industry due to the glamorous world attached to it.
What legacy do you wish to leave behind for yourself?
From the time we are kids, we’re told that we are special and we are destined for something wonderful, that we can take the world by the horns and that whatever we set our minds to we can accomplish, that it’s our world and what we choose to do with it is up to us. People will remember the impact we had on them or the memories they have with us. I may say something today that will have repercussions one, ten, thirty years from now. There is an overwhelming power but also an indescribable responsibility in that. The thought that I can have that much influence on another person’s life is humbling.
