My name is Marissa Evans, from Hattiesburg, MS. I own and operate Light Krewe Social, a community based interactive learning experience using all of today’s social media platforms combined with our community site and virtual events due to impacts of covid, for holistic healing! What makes The Light Krewe different is the fact that is is based solely on factual evidence and passion to serve in a capacity to heal generations! Light Krewe believes the Mind, Body, and Spirit are all aspects of Health that require equal focus! I have saw firsthand the impacts of poor nutrition, untreated mental and emotion trauma, and its impacts on the human spirit and will to be successful in other facets of life! Five years from now we hope to have changed the minds of our brothers and sisters in relation to our health and what is required to have true wealth! The african american community deserves to know that you can eat good soul food without eating toxic and harmful meat and dairy products!
