Who are your biggest influences?
My biggest influence is Michael B Jordan, due to his skill set, accomplishments & the way he carries himself while being a megastar. I love now he always remains humble and professional. Chadwick Boseman is another one I look up to. I was able to meet and talk with him for a few hours and pick his brain and how he formulates his energy and approach to getting into characters. Former NBA Star, Kenny “The Jet” is another big influence for me. We’ve grown close like family to where he is like an uncle figure in my life and he refers to me as his adopted nephew. He gives me tons of perspectives on life and business. He Introduces me to a lot of people and allows me to experience many things people only wish they could see or attend.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments thus far in your career?
Getting to Los Angelas was always a dream. I worked 3 jobs around the clock while also polishing my acting skills and performing in theatre plays and shooting my first commercial for Bloomberg which also featured NBA coach Doc Rivers. I played a basketball player which was ironic, due to me playing a couple years in college. I was also a basketball player on a new shot coming to Disney + called “Big Shot.” Before the Covid 19, I was up for a couple of pilots as well as an Indy film.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I see a lot of success for myself, such as a lead in a hit television series and also have seen apart of a feature film production! I want to be widely recognized for my projects, as well as speaking and giving motivation to the youth as well as peers. This business gives you a great platform for your voice to be heard and I want to spread positivity, ambition and hope. I want to see people living out there dreams just as I have so I want to be a poster child for. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, what your home life is like, that with a vision, a plan, determination and motivation and most of all God you can do anything. I see myself bringing someone up just as I had people help me in this industry. I’m a firm believer in “Each one teach one.”
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
The legacy I wish to leave behind would be when people think of me, they see me as a humble, determined, helpful and talented individual and also as one who made it to the top, yet, never was too important to lend a helping hand to someone looking for advice, perspective or just words of encouragement. I want to be close with the people who support me. That’s what I want to set me apart from the rest. I don’t want people to think that I was never “too good” to embrace fans and supporters on a personal level. If I can help someone who’s coming from a bad home or life and they think they have no way out to make it to their dream, I want sit with them and draw up a plan for them to execute and check in with them with the hopes their achieving their goals. Too many people make it and stay up on the high chair and tend to change their values and morals. The world needs someone on the highest platform who will reach down and lend a hand. I want inspire millions and millions of people before I leave this earth in hopes that one could follow my footsteps to the end and be able to do it all over again and have the same, if not bigger, affect that I did.
