What’s your full name/artist name, age and where are you from?
My name is Josiah Thomas and I am a Canadian artist from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. My artist name is JT5K and I am 22 years old.
Who are you biggest influences?
Growing up in Canada obviously your biggest influences are artists from the country that made it. My biggest music influences are Drake, Nav, and Tory Lanez. Coming up I looked up towards these guys to find my sound. I watched hours of interviews on these guys just trying to gain knowledge and ideas on how to succeed in the music industry.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself working with bigger artists and really putting Western Canada on the map. I want to be doing tours around the globe and have an amazing fan base. I also want to start my own official label and start to sign artists from around my area and put them on.
