“ I am JaKKPayne, born and raised in Brooklyn NY, a 90s baby definitely. Coming from an era where content mattered, having a voice,and being given multiple platforms to share talents — I embrace my ability to engage with the people through meaningful bars and rhythm. Bar for bar I’m giving raw pain! Telling stories that is relatable to all people, places, and things”.
Where do you see in 5 Years?
“In 5 years, I will be the biggest international mogul. Music being one of many platforms, I also do graphic designing for my brands clothing — Being apart of NYFW 2020 was definitely a great experience and I’m looking forward to working within the industry with different designers and models. I enjoy the artistic aspect in fashion, the lifestyle and the culture”.
“My passion and love for music is why I continue to record music, it’s a form of art. This year I will be releasing an album, currently I am working on. Titled, “JaKKPayne I’m Not A Rapper SOIDGAF WHO”.
“It will be a versatile body of work, filled with metaphors and punchlines — Lyrically doing music since the third grade. The talent is there, but I always dreamed of being much more than a rapper”.
