Jae5ive is multi genre musician and songwriter from Watts, CA. When it comes to being an artist, he doesn’t put his self in a certain box because their’s not a lane or a certain style because he listens to a number of genres of music.
Who are you biggest musical influences?
Kevin Gates because his style is unique and some people compare me to him, Nipsey Hussle because the message he was putting out, Jay Z because of the empire he made, and my big brother Coop because he introduced me to the music.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments thus far in your career?
Reaching a million streams was very big to me besides music wasn’t something I grew up thinking I could do; I just always listened to a lot of music, opening up for YoungBoy & Young Dolph is also another accomplishment for me, and getting a co sign from Chaka khan and 03Greedo was the last best accomplishment for me.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself partnered with a major label, owning a few properties, having my own record label, and being successful.
What legacy do you wish to leave behind for yourself?
I just want my kids kids’s kids to never have to go back to the things I grew up having to do just to survive. Music wise, I just want to have a number of platinum plaques and win a few.
