Tell us about you:

I’m TriplxIce, and I’m from the DFW area of Texas, Although I’ve moved quite a lot throughout my life.

I love music, because of how easy it is to express myself through it.

It’s really like therapy for me, and I’m able to express so many emotions that may otherwise be too difficult to express. A lot of times, I have had trouble in the past expressing myself due to ADHD, but because of music, my confidence, and ability to express are much better. Music really saves me in a way, I wouldn’t be who I am without it. I feel like a lot of people don’t understand how much things like ADHD can affect your life like it’s something that’s hard to comprehend if you don’t deal with it yourself. It’s the same thing for anxiety, depression, and anything else you can go through. Regardless, I know there are people like me who deal with the same weight. That’s another reason I love music because it allows me to speak to people who feel trapped. I really just want to be able to help anyone who goes through what I have.

Where I’ve grown up, I’ve slowly seen the difference in passion and determination for music show itself in how much I work towards this goal. Many of the guys I started with either don’t make music at all anymore, or they’ve just made 0 progress, while I’ve grown so many levels. Looking back, it all seems so crazy to me, but that’s just life sometimes I guess. If you told that 17-year-old kid that he’d be making music as I do now, I never would’ve believed it. I mean, I’ve really come to be proud of how far I’ve come in so little time. My growth has been exponential, and I’m working to keep it like that. In 5 years, I see myself doing music full time, and reaching the lives of many people with my music. I’m going to be working with people who are household names in the industry, and I see myself even doing tours. I mean a huge goal of mine is to do performances, the idea of performing is just so cool to me. I…
