My artist’s name is Kovan Baldwin, and I am from Minneapolis Minnesota. That is my birth name,
I love music because it brings everything to life. I loved music ever since I was little. The Temptations, Usher are one of my biggest inspirations.
What makes you different as a music artist?
The thing that makes me different as an artist is that I am not afraid to be in my own lane. I pride myself on being different. My style, tone of voice and my lyrical content. I pride myself on being positive and genuine in my music. I am also different because I go against the grain and the status quo. For me it’s not about fame and fortunate but about the message and possibilities that I bring. I am not boastful with my lyrics, and I don’t brag about what I got or that I want women to worship me. My music is about love and relationships at its truest core. I have also already invested in myself and my career. Branding is key. My first single that I released recently climbed the digital radio tracker global charts to No. 84 and No. 25 on the top Hip/Hop and R&B charts on 10/30/2021/ That was a major accomplishment.
