Tell us about you:
Some things require skill in using words to convey thoughts, consistency, and passion but most important is originality. It’s that ever-abstract X-factor that separates an MC from the masses. Offering something so unique that your own listeners can’t help but gravitate to your personality. Like porn, it’s hard to define but you know it when you see or hear it. It’s an unteachable charisma that makes rapping and making music seem effortless, and the second it no longer does, you’ve lost it.
I see myself being so many things but I don’t know where to really start. I see myself being something like Jay Z but bigger and better. I study the wise and learn from the wise. I also see myself being similar to P Diddy. Being a black billionaire, teaching my kids generational wealth, running a few businesses with them, and possibly getting married with a wall of my accomplishments in a big house is another goal I see myself accomplishing.
Giving back to the community, I think, is the best thing anyone can do for themselves. I’d like to be financially independent enough to give back. I want to, not only give money, but give my time and resources as a form of giving back. After all, that’s what life is about. The two causes that really get me going are sexual abuse against women and animals. I’d really like to not only donate money, but my time and energy into giving back.
I don’t think rap has ever lacked for emotional rawness and self-exposure. I just think we’re in a moment now where the popularity of these kinds of songs is cresting. The everyday realities of most young Americans is such that we’re seeking out a soundtrack that suits our moods. I was coming with a lot of pain and Soul and also a lot of understanding and help to guide the youth in a positive way.
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
All kinds of accomplishments, such as successfully overcoming adversity, raising resilient children, excelling as a leader, creating inventions or innovations, and much more. The things a person does and achieves throughout a lifetime form a powerful legacy that others will remember me by. Generosity and social responsibility are huge characteristics to me.
Helping others who are less fortunate or in a vulnerable position and those who do good works throughout their lives establish a positive legacy that helps make life better for others. I want to volunteer in acts of kindness, charitable organizations or individuals in need. There are countless ways that good deeds leave a mark on the world. I want to make a lot of moves like Oprah Winfrey. She will be remembered forever. I just want to leave my kids a lot of businesses like Walt Disney making millions for many years after I pass away and I know it can be done. I won’t stop until it’s done.
