Dario Del Priore is an American musician and songwriter from Freehold, NJ but was born in Brooklyn, NY.
What makes you different as a person and as an artist?
I see value in everyone and want to watch my peers succeed. Others say I’m very open-minded and understanding of their personal and musical tastes. Not once throughout the creative process do I believe my way is the right way. Art is subjective, and I’ve learned to value the opinions of others to help better my craft. That’s when my true musicality has been able to shine through.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years time, I see myself touring and playing originals to the world, bringing others the same joy offstage I get when on it. This industry is tough, but if anyone can break through, I know I’ve got a shot. My life can change with one song, and if it does, that’s great, but I believe all success takes time, so I’m in no rush. As long as I continue taking it one step at a time, God will lead me on the right path.
