Chloe Martinez is an 18 year old singer from Gibraltar currently living in London. At this point in time, she is currently attending a course called “Artist Development” and studying at Access Creative College London, where artists such as Ed Sheehan, Rita Ora and Jess Glynne have studied before. The course is meant to finish this July and she is planning on creating and launching her Debut Album called “Different” after that. A few of her biggest musical influences range from Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Luis Miguel, Natalia Lafourcade and Selena. “You cannot label good music it’s just good music and that spans on all genres”, says Chloe.
What is one of your biggest accomplishments?
“One of my biggest accomplishments in my career so far was singing at the inauguration of the New International Gibraltar Airport before Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex in June 2012. A very special moment in my life that has left it’s mark throughout my career.”
What legacy would you like to leave behind?
“I would like to leave a legacy that encourages people to embrace diversity and respect others through the love of music. I hope to help people embrace their differences and love themselves as it was something that I myself have struggled with in the past. If my music helps one person realise their worth and comforts them in any given situation, that would already. be an example of fulfilling. my legacy.”
