Tell us about you:
My name is Chloe Christensen, and I’m from South Carver, Massachusetts.
I’m currently working on broadening my horizons through both two dimensional and four dimensional work. These contemporary paintings, writings and recordings are my own attempt to translate my thoughts and feelings into media; to soothe, stimulate and replicate. During these strange times I’m in the early stages of establishing a digital gallery for my work, as well as using my artistic expression to navigate my own perceptions of the times.
There are times where I would focus on what “truly makes me different” from my peers; and it’s what separates any one of us: our perspectives. Through art I want to focus not only on the different between, perhaps, the artist and the viewer, but also the similarities. How are your perceptions different than mine? What do you see?
In coming years I can not say for sure where exactly I’ll be, but I know I’ll be at work. I wasn’t taught any other way.
As I continue to grow and use my craft I only see myself becoming a brighter and fuller person with more articulated skill, and I hope my works translate into something that resonates with viewers.
