Charlee Bravo is American hip hop artist and songwriter from Detroit, MI but now lives in South Florida. He specializes in fusing genres, characterizations, and different tones.
Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
“Always an easy question for me! I know alot of people expected me to say Pac or Biggie. Although I love their music, Eminem and Lil Wayne have influenced me my whole life. Eminem is extremely creative also from my home town. The way he is able to twist words and bend his flow is truly unchallenged by anyone. His come up from the slums, alone, is truly inspiring and to be honest I hope to to work with him one day. Lil Wayne has successfully time traveled through the music eras from his style to his genres. Lil Wayne made it ok to be different and to be yourself.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I see myself as a top musical influence, owning my label, and doing my part in the community/world to make at least 1 percent of it better. At the height of my career, I want to invest in different businesses, real estate, and restaurants. Last but not least, I know it may be hard but I want to finish my last couple years of college and gain my bachelor’s degree.
What legacy do you wish to leave behind for yourself?
That’s a hard one..
I guess I just want people to remember me as a good person. A person who cared and created exactly what was in my head, fearless in the face of anything and stronger than any obstacle I ever faced. I want to be a prime example of “Dreams do come true”. Of course leaving funding, jobs, and businesses for my family are important but, leaving a blueprint for them and the entire world would mean my legacy isnt about material. It’s about uniting our future generations.
