Bishop Gary Hawkins and also Best Selling Author: New Building Project for Mega Church Voices of Faith
Bishop Gary Hawkins Sr., Bishop of Voices of Faith of 8 churches in Georgia, has now started working on a new project that will change the whole look for their mother church in Stone Mountain. He is going for the new look to stay relevant in the new generation.
The public is excited to see what he has in store for the community. Bishop Gary Hawkins has started getting the walls and the roof painted in the main sanctuary. He also plans on changing the old school look remodeling the stage and plans on putting LED lights inside to give the church a new fresh look. He plans on taking down the big screens and he plans on putting 3D LED TV screens as the new background look in the building to stay relevant in this young upcoming generation. Bishop Hawkins is inviting everyone to be apart of this movement. He has asked the community and his church members to donate to this project to help win more souls for the kingdom.
Voices of Faith has seen its membership grow from seventy-five to more than fourteen-thousand members in only seventeen years and has been recognized by Church Growth Magazine as the twenty-fifth fastest growing church in America. For the past eight years, Outreach Magazine has named Voices of Faith as one of the top 100 largest and fastest-growing churches in America.
Bishop Hawkins served as a host, as well, appeared as a regular guest on the TBN Praise the Lord broadcast. He has authored eleven life changing books. In addition to his dynamic style of preaching a simplistic Word, Bishop Hawkins is known for his “Marketing Your Church for Growth” leadership conference, which has now become a marketing tour. A plethora of pastors have sent testimonies of how his out-of-the-box approach to ministry has impacted them for kingdom growth. He empowers pastors, leaders and entrepreneurs by teaching biblical principles that push them into another dimension of kingdom building. Out of his passion for reaching God’s people, he birthed the Eagles Nest Ministry, through which he serves as a spiritual father and mentor to a great number of senior pastors. Bishop Hawkins holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia. Bishop Hawkins received a Master’s Degree in Finance from National University, San Diego, California and his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern University, his native town, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Bishop Hawkins has received a great number of accolades and acknowledgements for his work in ministry and for the community, including the President Barack Obama 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2017 National Community Service Humanitarian Award.
