Aria Rich is a Television Host, Sports Reporter, and Model from Boston, MA. Some of her biggest influences are Erin Andrews, Maria Menounos, Kelly Ripa, Jenny Dell, Christie Brinkley, Cindy Crawford, and Daisy Ridley. One of her biggest passions is cooking/baking. She’s always in my kitchen on off days. She grew up in an Italian household, so she was always watching and learning how to cook from her mother and grandmother. “My friends never leave my house hungry”, states Aria.
Dance and gymnastics have always been a big part of her life. When she’s in LA, she’s always taking dance classes at her favorite studio, Playground LA. Robin Antin has been an amazing teacher. “It’s a really fun workout!”, states Aria.
Writing is something She loves to do. Whether it’s sports writing for her job or writing fiction, poems, songs. “It’s always been therapeutic for me.”, states Aria. She wrote a book on her experience living in Europe, and starting an App where people can share travel experiences. People can write in or review their favorite restaurant or places they’ve discovered and she thinks it’ll help people learn about new spots and be able to collaborate.
What legacy would you like to leave behind for yourself?
“Teamwork makes the dreamwork. I’ve worked in many different industries. Finance, Venture Capital/Private Equity, Sales, Cosmetology, Journalism, Hospitality. Every job has taught me that if you’re not a team player, or not part of a good team, you won’t succeed.
So many people are caught up in thinking about themselves and not willing to help others succeed. I wouldn’t be here if it were for certain people giving me a chance, letting me fill in, and referring me.
I remember reaching out to a lot female hosts asking for advice, etc. No one ever responded. I don’t want to be like that.
I like teaching other women different techniques I’ve learned and learning new ideas they may have too.
I’m grateful to be a part of FGSN (Fangirl Sports Network.) We’re the first ever all female sports network in the U.S and world. We help and support each other, rather make it a competition”.
What wins your heart over?
Honestly, the nice guy always finish first in my book. I love people that can make me laugh and have random things in common with. Make me smile and feel special and you got my heart.
